of Historic Places. Some of the oldest surviving structures in the city

OCEANA AIR SHOW featuring the BLUE ANGELS
Crowds will delight to performances by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels,
Jim “Bulldog” Leroy, Jurgis Kairys, Steve Oliver, Bill Leff, the Geico
Skytypers, Manfred radius and more. The sky will be filled with thunder
from F/A-18 Hornets and Super Hornets, the E-2C Hawkeye, the F-15 Eagle,
the F-22 Raptor, a large information “Fleet Flyby” and the dramatic Air
Power Demonstration. The British Red Devils and the Blackwater USA jump
teams will perform their daring precision parachute jumps and the Shockwave
Jet Truck will fill the airfield with smoke and flame.

Olde Towne Holiday Music Festival
The Olde Towne Holiday Music Festival is a musical tribute
to the spirit of the holiday season, bringing the first seven blocks of
High Street alive with live performances, re-enactors in period attire,
carolers, and strolling characters. Concerts, which range from barbershop
harmony and jazz to steel drums and brass ensembles, are staged in a variety
of indoor and outdoor locations and in several historic Olde Towne.

Beginning of June each year
The spectacular Parade of Sail, under the direction of the
Virginia Pilots Association, will get underway Friday morning, June 6,
at 9:00 am off the shore of East Beach in the Ocean View section of Norfolk.
The Parade will continue up the Chesapeake Bay and will be visible from
the beaches of Ocean View, pass over the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, past
the Norfolk Naval Base and proceed up the Elizabeth River, passing by the
Portsmouth seawall along the river and is scheduled to arrive at Town Point
Park, Norfolk at Noon. Festivities will commence throughout the weekend
including food, fun and music.
